While most of my posts are regarding my personal thoughts on Digital Marketing, I’m taking this opportunity to garner support for an event that I will be participating in this Saturday June 18th called the “Relay for Life”
The Canadian Cancer Society Relay For Life is an overnight non-competitive relay that celebrates cancer survivors and pays tribute to loved ones. It’s a night of fun, friendship and fundraising to beat cancer.
This is my second fundraising campaign for Cancer in the last 12 months. As most you know, a number of colleagues and I participated in Movember where we were able to raise just short of $2500.
Here was the result of a months hard work.
I personally raised $381 for the cause in November and this time around I’m looking to beat that mark so I have set a goal of $500 for my team.
I like to ask you to take the time and donate a minimum of $10 to help me reach my goal and more importantly fight this disease. The video below only asks for $5 but I am asking for more.
